Contest Terms and Conditions

  1. This competition is administered by officialCOMMUNITY, (2238 Dundas Street West, Toronto, Ontario M6R 3B5) and Crockford Management (10 Tottenham Mews, London, UK, W1T 4AF) and is promoted by Universal Music Catalogue, a division of Universal Music Operations Limited (4 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG).
  2. The prize draw is open to all residents in the UK over the age of 18 except: employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration; or members of the immediate families or households of any of the aforementioned. 
  3. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.
  4. The prize draw will run from Wednesday 8th February 2023 10:00 GMT to Sunday 26th February 2023 23:59 GMT. Entries received outside of this time will not be valid.
  5. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
  6. To enter the prize draw, enter your email address where indicated via the digital form, and shared on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Official Artist Newsletter. 
  7. To enter the prize draw entrants must have a mobile phone or other wireless or electronic device that supports internet access. Normal internet access and data usage charges imposed by your carrier or online service will apply. Entrants must have a valid email address to enter the prize draw.
  8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for prize draw entries that are not successfully completed, lost, or delayed in transit due to any technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware, software or any other equipment failure.
  9. The Promoter will not accept prize draw entries that are: automatically generated by computer, completed by third parties or in bulk, illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with, photocopies and not originals, or incomplete.
  10. There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
  11. This is a prize draw to win 1 (one) of 20 (twenty) pairs of tickets to a “Brothers In Arms Listening Experience” in London on March 8th 2022. The location of the event will be confidential and revealed to the winner only.
  12. The winners will be selected at random by a computer generator by Monday 27th February 2023 10:00 GMT.
  13. The winners will be notified by Promoter via email by Monday 27th February 2023 18:00 GMT. If the winner of the prize draw does not respond to the Promotor by email reply within 2 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above. The prize event will occur on 8th March 2023. 
  14. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into about it.
  15. By entering, Entrants, Winners and persons accompanying the Winner, agree to release and hold harmless UMC, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents and representatives from any damage, injury, death, loss, claim, action, demand or other liability that may arise from their acceptance and/or use of prize or their participation in this promotion, or from any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded.
  16. For the avoidance of doubt, UMC is not responsible for:
    1. failed, returned or misdirected notifications based on inaccurate information provided by the winner on entry; and
    2. entries, and responses to winner notifications which are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, misdirected, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient in whole or in part or for computer, mobile phone or technical error of any kind; and
    3. the failure of any third party to comply with the instructions and proper administration of this Prize Promotion.
    4. the Winners inability to claim the Prize and attend the playback session.
  17. Prize is subject to availability and does not include travel to or from the venue, accommodation or any other expenses incurred in connection therewith. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable. No substitutions are permitted except by UMC who reserve the right to award another prize for one of comparable or greater value if the prize is unavailable. Entrants acknowledge that UMC and all other businesses concerned with this Prize Promotion and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for, any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the quality, conditions, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of a prize except that each merchandise prize shall be subject to any applicable manufacturer’s standard warranties.
  18. There is no cash alternative for the prize and it cannot be exchanged or transferred.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  20. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place.  To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails [email protected] or writes to Central eCRM team, Universal Music, 4 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in Clause 4.  If you object to any or all of your surname or county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at [email protected]. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.   
  21. Personal data supplied during the course of this prize draw will only be processed as set out in the privacy policy stated below:
  22. By submitting a prize draw entry, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  23. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
  24. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
